Yeah, the whole 80's tan obsession...& i lived in FL...talk about "hittin' the skin[s]"[!]...
I was def suckered in by it...I used to "live" in the sun...you're implicitly encouraged to do so because, "by golly-gosh-darn it - you look so [healthy & hollywood] fabulous!!"...that is, until youre sitting at the derm's waiting to get that golf-ball sized melanoma / carcinoma "frozen" off your face...with hopes of more of the same occuring anywhere at any time on your person...[death being one of the more severe long-term exposure risks/consequences]. Kids, they aint foolin around when they tell ya about this stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, (someone check, as I dont have the CD liner notes handy), Tris played "My Heart Wants To Know" on the Tribute To Jeff CD. Ya wanna talk pocket, groove, and feel? I remember being profoundly moved, and misty eyed listening to that song for the 1st time, not only because of the moving tribute to Jeffrey, but because of the deep, soulful groove on that tune. In my book, Tris has earned his groove stripes with that tune alone.
